I. Overview of Xiaomi Community

Xiaomi Community is an online platform established by Xiaomi Corporation, aiming to bring together Xiaomi users and technology enthusiasts from around the world. We encourage members to speak freely, share and exchange valuable content related to Xiaomi products, smart lifestyles, knowledge sharing, photography, technical support, cultural exchanges, and global networking. We also welcome members to participate in various interesting online and offline activities hosted by Xiaomi Community, and to enjoy a fulfilling and enjoyable online experience.

II. Definition of Violations

To maintain a healthy and positive environment within the Xiaomi Community, we have clearly defined the following violations. Please avoid these when using the Xiaomi Community.

Serious Violations

1.Violation of Laws and Regulations:

Posting information that violates laws and regulations, and endangers national and social security, including but not limited to:

• Inciting hatred, discrimination, or promoting cult-related content;

• Spreading rumors, disrupting social order, and undermining social stability;

• Promoting pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terrorism, or inciting criminal activities;

• Posting pornographic or obscene content (such as detailed descriptions of sexual organs, sexual acts, or sexual psychology), or using suggestive images or text to guide users into engaging in online or offline sexual services or promoting pornographic websites;

• Inciting illegal gatherings, associations, protests, demonstrations, or mass activities that disrupt social order;

• Spreading, creating, or discussing tools that facilitate unauthorized access to overseas networks;

• Defaming others, disclosing private information, or infringing upon others' legal rights;

• Sharing unverified social rumors or unconfirmed information;

• Posting content that highlights negative social issues and may cause biased public opinion, such as school violence or child abuse.

2. Political Content:

Posting political-related content, including but not limited to:

• Spreading controversial political opinions or remarks;

• Registering accounts using the images of domestic or foreign political leaders;

• Using the names (including homophonic variations) of political leaders as account names;

• Spreading false or misleading political rumors.

General Violations

1.Infringement of Civil Rights:

Posting content that infringes upon the rights of other users or entities, including but not limited to:

• Publishing others' private information or revealing personal details they do not wish to disclose, such as ID numbers, workplaces, phone numbers, email addresses, contact information of family members, names, and photos;

• Fabricating facts, making inflammatory or malicious statements, defaming or slandering others, degrading their character or image, using vulgar, indecent, threatening, or insulting language, or harassing others;

• Infringing upon others' copyrights by illegally uploading, downloading, streaming, or linking to unauthorized content (e.g., movies, songs, articles, books);

• Registering or using domain names that infringe upon others' trademark rights;

• Infringing upon others' rights of name, title, or portrait, including impersonating or misappropriating others' identities or personal information for account registration, or plagiarizing or imitating others' posts or articles.

2.Unfriendly Behavior:

Actions that show disrespect towards other Xiaomi users and their contributions, including but not limited to:

• Harassment: Repeatedly sending similar or identical messages to others via comments, @ mentions, or private messages, or using indecent or pornographic language to provoke others;

• Insult: Using inappropriate or offensive language to make negative remarks about others;

• Humiliation: Mocking or degrading others based on their abilities, actions, physical traits, or personal identities;

• Discrimination: Attacking others based on their ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age, region, or physical characteristics;

• Provocation: Intentionally angering others with hostile or inappropriate comments, aiming to provoke responses and create disputes.

3. Malicious Activities:

Content or actions that affect user experience, disrupt the Xiaomi Community environment, or pose operational risks, including but not limited to:

• Posting links or content related to phishing, piracy, malware, or virus-infected websites;

• Sharing potentially harmful content that threatens user privacy or security;

• Submitting false or malicious reports against users or posts that do not violate the guidelines;

• Engaging in fraudulent activities by concealing facts or misleading users through second-hand trading, advance payments, etc.;

• Posting irrelevant topics, unrelated images, or borderline inappropriate content;

• Impersonating others by using similar avatars, usernames, or other identifying information;

• Infringing upon Xiaomi's intellectual property rights, including misuse, parody, or manipulation of the Xiaomi logo, or publishing content that could be easily confused with Xiaomi's existing product themes or designs;

• Impersonating official Xiaomi accounts or personnel;

• Repeatedly making jokes or posting irrelevant content to gain attention, thereby harming the community atmosphere;

• Provoking disputes or manipulating discussions to incite arguments;

• Exploiting, discussing, or distributing vulnerabilities in other platforms or software systems for personal gain, such as free data access, cheating tools, or malicious scripts.

4. Spamming:

Posting content that disrupts the Xiaomi Community experience or affects the platform's normal operation, including but not limited to:

• Repeatedly posting similar content (e.g., in posts or comments);

• Illegally owning or operating multiple accounts, or colluding with other accounts to gain unfair exposure;

• Buying or selling accounts, or using the same account and device repeatedly to flood the platform;

• Promoting unofficial reselling, counterfeit products, QR codes, group chats, or social media accounts, or posting promotional content such as group-buying or giveaways;

• Posting advertisements or promotional content in inappropriate areas, including topics or comment sections, or using other users' accounts to promote third-party platforms;

• Venting negative emotions or posting malicious reviews about devices.

III. Violation Handling Process

Violations are identified through both proactive monitoring and user reports. Users can report suspicious activities or content via the “Report” function.

Once a violation is confirmed, the Xiaomi Community administrators will take appropriate actions based on these guidelines. (The system will first automatically detect and process content involving pornography, gambling, etc., via keyword filtering.)

• Post Removal & Warning: For general violations, the relevant content will be removed by administrators or authorized moderators. Users will receive a system notification regarding the violation, although a formal warning may require manual review.

• Temporary Suspension of Posting Privileges (Mute): For repeated general violations (more than 3 times), administrators will remove the content and may temporarily suspend the user's ability to post or comment.

• Account Deletion: For serious violations (including but not limited to political, religious, or pornographic content), even once, administrators will remove the content and may permanently delete the account.

Content that has not yet been removed does not imply approval by Xiaomi. If you encounter content that meets the violation criteria but has not been deleted, please report it immediately. We will process reported content within 24 hours.

IV. Supplementary Notes

This document is a dynamic guideline and may be updated by Xiaomi from time to time in accordance with relevant laws and regulations or operational needs. Please check regularly for the latest version.
