Please be aware that these messages are highly suspicious and may indicate scam activity.

• Do not share personal data, Mi Account details, verification codes, or make any payments.

• Any offer that claims to guarantee or speed up UBL approval should be considered unsafe.

• The UBL quota is indeed limited, and approval depends on Xiaomi’s official system.

• Users are encouraged to keep trying through the official procedure.

• The official method is safe and does not require any payment.

⚠️ Beware of Bootloader Unlock Extortion Scams

Some scammers use fake paid UBL services as a way to extort users. After gaining access to a victim's Mi Account, they may remotely lock the device by changing the account password and enabling Find Device/Lost Mode.

The victim is then threatened that the device will remain locked, be permanently blocked, or have its data erased unless a ransom is paid.

This is a common social engineering scam designed to exploit fear and panic. If you receive such offers or messages, stop communicating immediately and report the account to the moderation team.
