Xiaomi Phone Stuck on Google Account Verification After Factory Reset
If your Xiaomi phone shows a screen asking you to sign in with the Google Account that was previously synchronized with the device after a factory reset, this is usually Google Factory Reset Protection (FRP).
How to Fix It
The safest solution is to sign in using the same Google Account that was previously used on the phone.
If you remember the email but forgot the password, recover the Google Account first and then try signing in again. Xiaomi notes that after changing a Google password, it may take some time before the new password can be used on the device.
If you have multiple Google Accounts, check which account previously had the device associated with it.
Can't Remember the Google Account?
Don't use random FRP-bypass tools or unofficial methods. If you are the legitimate owner and cannot recover the account, Xiaomi recommends contacting its after-sales/service support and providing proof of purchase where required.
Also make sure the phone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile network during the verification process.
Important: FRP is a security feature designed to protect a device after an unauthorized factory reset, so there isn't a legitimate universal method to bypass another person's Google Account verification.
