MediaTek Dimensity CX C10 Max Arrives With 3nm Architecture And On-Device AI

MediaTek has officially introduced the Dimensity CX C10 Max, the first SoC in its new Dimensity Compute Experiences (CX) family. Unlike the company's smartphone-focused Dimensity chips, the new platform is designed for personal computing and will power upcoming premium, ultra-portable Googlebook devices.

3nm Process And All-Big-Core CPU

Built using TSMC's advanced 3nm process, the Dimensity CX C10 Max uses an eight-core all-big-core CPU architecture consisting of one Arm Cortex-X925, three Cortex-X4, and four Cortex-A720 cores.

The platform includes 12MB of L3 cache and 10MB of system-level cache (SLC), while supporting LPDDR5X memory at up to 9600Mbps and UFS 4.0 storage.

11-Core GPU And 55 TOPS AI

Graphics are handled by an 11-core Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU, designed to provide sustained graphics performance for demanding workloads and entertainment.

For AI, MediaTek integrates its NPU 890, offering up to 55 TOPS of AI performance. MediaTek says the NPU is designed to enable on-device agentic AI and support Gemini Intelligence features on upcoming Googlebook devices, with local processing helping provide faster responses and improved privacy.

Camera And Connectivity

The Dimensity CX C10 Max also integrates MediaTek's Imagiq 1090 ISP, supporting camera sensors up to 32MP. MediaTek highlights AI-assisted HDR video, video zoom, sustained focus and electronic image stabilization for clearer video calls and content creation.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 with speeds of up to 7.3Gbps and dual-engine Bluetooth 6.0 support. The platform also provides three PCIe Gen4 lanes, one full-featured USB 5Gbps port and two eUSB2v2 ports.

Built For Thin And Quiet Computers

Beyond raw performance, MediaTek is positioning the Dimensity CX C10 Max around power efficiency. Its 3nm architecture and efficient platform design are intended to help manufacturers build thin, lightweight and even fanless computers while maintaining all-day battery life.

The new chip marks MediaTek's expansion of the Dimensity brand beyond smartphones and into a new generation of AI-focused personal computing devices.
